their world becomes smaller and their confidence slips away. Social delays can affect a child's school work, relationships and future potential.
Friends Play Group (FPG) and Team Friend are proven social skills programs that can easily be incorporated into classrooms and family homes. Since 2005 sisters Linda Young and Shelley Frost have taught FPG concepts and strategies to hundreds of children in the San Francisco Bay Area. For children who have participated in FPG sessions, what they have learned has changed their lives.
Because FPG and Team Friend classes are small in size, the demand for space outweighs availability. To share the program beyond their own classroom, Young and Frost have packaged the FPG program in a simple, easy to follow curriculum that can be used by parents, teachers, and child healthcare professionals.
If you know of a child who is living with social delays, or work with children on the autism spectrum, please explore the FPG program. Our straightforward, easy to implement, fun to learn program is sure to captivate the imaginations of you and the children under your guidance. We are confident that children who use the FPG concepts will begin to characterize posititve social behaviors, improving classroom experiences and the best part - making new friends.
