Hi FPG Parents, past & present,
One of our FPG cofounders has asked us to post the following opportunity (see description and link below) for you to fill out a survey on parents’ perceptions of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Any parent can fill out the survey, not just a parent who has a child or children with ASD. If you have the time, please consider participating and/or forwarding this opportunity to interested parents.
This survey has been approved by the appropriate Institutional Review Board (i.e., a governing body that reviews the ethics of proposed research), which granted the researchers permission to forward the link to friends/colleagues who may be interested in participating. If you have any questions about the survey, you can contact Corrine Zimmerman (email@example.com) and/or Steve Croker (firstname.lastname@example.org), who are the supervisors of the PhD student collecting the survey data.
The FPG team
"My name is Jillian Reiher. I am a doctoral student in the Department of Psychology at Illinois State University. I am conducting a survey regarding parents’ perceptions of Autism Spectrum Disorder intervention efficacy. I am inviting your participation, which involves filling out online questionnaires. Participation in the task will take approximately one hour. Note that you do not have to have a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder to participate – I am interested in the opinions of ALL parents. If you are a parent with at least one child aged 21 or younger, and would like to take the survey, please follow this link: http://my.ilstu.edu/~sfcroke/research/ASDsurvey/. You will be directed to a consent form. If you consent, you will be directed to the survey. Thank you!"
